Biography: Mrs. Long focuses her practice on the defense of complex civil litigation matters. She has successfully defended corporations, insurers, small businesses, and individuals in state and federal courts throughout Alabama in matters involving construction defects, business/contract disputes, extra-contractual claims, first-party and third-party insurance claims, coverage questions, fraud, arson, theft, employer liability, premises liability, truck/automobile litigation, and catastrophic injury. Mrs. Long also maintains an appellate practice and has argued before the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Long was a partner in a firm based out of Birmingham, AL and also served as a Law Clerk to Associate Justice Champ Lyons, Jr. with the Supreme Court of Alabama.
