Biography: Mike is a shareholder in GrayRobinson's Orlando office. His practice is focused on civil litigation, including both trial and appellate work, in both state and federal courts throughout Florida. Mike's experience includes complex contract, insurance, business torts and disputes, construction, fraud, personal injury, professional malpractice defense, bank litigation and landlord/tenant. Mike holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is its highest legal ability and ethical standards rating. BackgroundMichael is a lifelong Floridian who was born and raised in West Palm Beach. He earned his bachelor's degree in finance and international business from Florida State University before earning his juris doctor from the Florida International University College of Law in Miami.While in law school, Michael tried numerous cases in the 11th Judicial Circuit Court as a Florida Supreme Court certified legal intern with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's Office. Michael was also active in the Florida International University College of Law's Moot Court Team, where he earned several awards recognizing his advocacy skills.Prior to joining GrayRobinson, Michael practiced law in West Palm Beach with some of the state's top trial lawyers, including the late Bob Montgomery. While in South Florida, Michael gained valuable courtroom experience in complex insurance and personal injury matters, participating in trials returning jury verdicts totaling more than $6 million dollars.
