Biography: Robert J. Dignam's practice focuses on the defense of employment law and litigation matters in state and federal courts in Indiana, in federal court in Illinois, before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's District Offices in Indiana and Illinois, before the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and before the Illinois Department of Human Rights. He also counsels clients on employment and labor law issues, including matters before the National Labor Relations Board, and serves as lead negotiator in labor negotiations. Mr. Dignam represents school corporations, and has guided them through matters in court, before state agencies, and in mediations and arbitration. Mr. Dignam also serves as a medical review panel chairman in Indiana, and as a registered civil mediator.Mr. Dignam has attained the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating. He is also a recipient of the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award, based upon the recognition of his abilities in Quality of Service, Overall Value, Responsiveness and Communication Ability.On numerous occasions, Mr. Dignam has presented at continuing legal education seminars at the request of the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and he has also authored countless articles addressing various areas of employment law.Mr. Dignam also serves as an adjunct professor at Purdue University Calumet.
