Biography: Mr. Bly has been representing businesses in a wide range of legal matters for over 17 years.  After working as an equity partner for a large firm, Mr. Bly founded his own firm in order to provide a more cost-effective, customer-centric platform for assisting his clients.  Mr. Bly has received the highest possible rating (AV, Preeminent) from his clients and peers on an independent rating system conducted by Martindale Hubbell and Lawyers.com.Mr. Bly specializes in representing cable, telecommunications, new media and technology companies.  He is an experienced litigator and regulatory attorney with a knack for developing and implementing winning strategies and practical solutions for  his clients' legal problems.  Mr. Bly also has experience drafting a variety of commercial contracts and providing general counsel services.Mr. Bly has litigated, and in some cases taken to trial, large multi-million dollar cases as well as a myriad of small and medium sized cases involving issues such as breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, communications laws and regulations, wireless infrastructure deployment, studio agreements, privacy, copyright, land use and zoning, access to easements, insurance recovery, and local taxation.Mr. Bly has also negotiated and drafted hundreds of transactional documents, including technology licensing agreements, cable franchise agreements, website user agreements, privacy policies, commercial leases and easements, software-as-a-service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, settlement agreements, partnership agreements, operating agreements, and other commercial agreements.Mr. Bly is a frequent writer and speaker on business and technology law. Tidwell. Prior to attending law school, Bill worked as an economist for the U.S. Department of Energy
