Biography: L. Steven Platt is a partner and leader of the Firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group in Chicago. He has been rated a "Super Lawyer" for five years in a row dating to 2007, and a "Leading Lawyer" since 2009. He is AV rated and is rated a "5" out of "5" (highest) by clients and "5" out of "5" by peers (highest). Mr. Platt has been practicing law since 1978 and focuses his activities in labor and employment law. Prior to joining Clark Hill PLC, Mr. Platt was a partner for many years at a Chicago labor and employment boutique firm. During his practice, Mr. Platt does employment discrimination litigation, traditional labor law litigation before the labor Board, handles traditional labor law matters, and represents multi-employer Taft-Harley fringe benefit funds doing ERISA and other general commercial and other litigation.
